My tattoos are all made hand-poked and machine-free, and are built up by one dot at a time. This gentle method typically causes less trauma to the skin and is generally considered to be more comfortable to receive.
booking process
To book a tattoo with me, please fill out the Tattoo Request Form with all your information. Once I review it, I’ll reach out with an appointment date. If that date works for your schedule, you can save your spot by paying your deposit.
If you’re getting a custom piece, I will send you a drawing ahead of time – I aim for a week before our appointment – so you have time to ask for adjustments.
If you are not quite ready to book but want to inquire about getting a tattoo, fill out the form with as much detail as possible and I will try my best to answer all of your questions concisely.
my design approach
✱ FLASH VS CUSTOMS ✱
I am super eager to tattoo the flash I have already drawn, so I will likely prioritize flash requests (or variations of flash). However, if there’s a custom piece you think would be right up my alley, and you love my artwork, I will also make time for a handful of customs that fit my style!
You can claim a flash piece by including an image of the desired design in my the booking form. If you’re interested in custom work, please provide as much detail as possible; including your idea, where you’d like the piece, and include images of my work you like the style of. I will send a photo of the concept a couple of days before the appointment for your approval, and to discuss any changes you may want.
Bonus Notes:
✱ I will only tattoo flash once, making each tattoo unique. If the flash you love has already been claimed, I will offer to redraw it to make it unique for you!
✱ If this is a piece being tattooed in between other tattoos, feel free to include a photo of the desired placement so I can make sure to customize it to that spot.
✱ Please do not upload other people’s artwork, unless you are the artist or you’ve been given full permissions.
tattoo pricing & rates
The cost of a tattoo varies depending on the design and placement, and I’m always happy to provide a quote ahead of your appointment.
✱ SLIDING SCALE ✱
To make my work more accessible, I use a sliding scale ($100-150/hour) payment system to reflect an anti-capitalist ideology. Most of my work ranges from 2–3 hours.
✱ BURSARIES ✱
Every month I have a free flash tattoo spot saved for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour) folks. If you’re interested just mention it in your request form. If I have filled all the monthly spots, I’ll put you on a waitlist for the following month.
I ask for a $40 deposit on flash designs and $100 deposit for custom work, which will come off the total cost of the tattoo.
what to expect during the session
On the day of your appointment, you will have as much time as you need to pick the size, try out different placements, and make any final edits to the drawing.
You’re welcome to bring anything that you will need to make you feel the most comfortable during our session together, which might include: headphones, a good book, a blanket, a water bottle, snacks, different clothing options depending on the tattoo placement, and anything you may want to bring!
✱ TATTOO TIMES ✱
Small tattoos (~1-2″): 1-2.5 hours
Medium tattoos (~2.5-4″): 2.5-4hours
Large tattoos (~4 and more): 4-6hours and may require us to break into multiple sessions.
At the end of the session, I will bandage the area and explain proper aftercare and how to take care of your new tattoo.
access & location
I tattoo out of a private studio 10-minutes south of Sharbot Lake, Ontario.
Since this studio is rural, there’s lots of space for parking. The entrance has a small set of stairs, and I am happy to send any photos to help factor in access or navigation.
